The official account of Leverkusen posted a photo of Kovar and the jersey on social media, confirming that the 23-year-old goalkeeper joined the team from Manchester United and signed the contract until 2027. Kowalar will wear the No. 17 shirt of Leverkusen. According to previous media reports, Koval’s transfer fee is 9 million euros.

Coval joined Manchester United youth training in 2018 and was rented out to play in Sparta, Prague last season. He played 32 games, lost 34 goals and completed 11 games with zero seals.
