Live broadcast, August 15 -in an interview with Football News, Zhang chiming, who once played for teams such as Chongqing Lifan, Beijing Guoan and Tianjin Teda, talked about his feelings of engaging in youth training over the past year.

Last year, you officially retired. At that time, you were only 33 years old. Why did you retire so early?

To be honest, because I don’t think I can do what I want to do. No matter when I left Beijing or in the later period of Tianjin team, I was a little unwilling. After a lot of experience, I began to gradually come into contact with the field of coaching, so I also tried to consider new fields. I can’t reach my ideal standard in my career. Instead of letting myself live in a miserable life, I ‘d better figure out everything and start again from a new field.

Last year, you went back to the training center of Chengdu Football Association and became a echelon coach. After 20 years, how do you feel when you come back here again?

The room I live in now is the room I lived in when I was almost 15 years old when I first joined the first team of Chengdu Wuniu. Although the room has been renovated for so many years, the things inside have hardly changed, it gives me a sense of belonging. The assistant coaches and colleagues around me now are all teammates who came out of Chengdu Derui training center with me. They came back here pockets. I started my football dream here as a player before, and now as a coach, I am here to help more children who are as enthusiastic about football as I was at the beginning to start the football dream. This is a cycle, a linkage after 20 years.

You led the team for more than a year, what have you gained?

Our team is quite interesting. The little players encountered the epidemic just after graduating from junior high school. In three years, these children have hardly played any high-quality competitions or national competitions. They are basically staying at school, and even local competitions are difficult to meet. Last year, I participated in the provincial sports meeting in Sichuan province. I was very happy that we won the championship and then participated in the Association Cup held in Zhuhai, which was the sixth in the country at that time. This year is equivalent to the outbreak period of the competition. We played the China Youth Games and the youth games and got the top two winners in the Youth Games group competition. In general, more than a year has filled many gaps in the past three years, and I think it has made a small difference.

Whenever the national football team in the international competition does not perform well, everyone will say that the youth training has not done well, and they are also saying that the youth coach is out of gear. How do you think about this problem?

As a youth coach, you should reflect on your daily work when listening to others discussing what you and yourself are doing. Have you studied lesson plans seriously? Do you know more about modern football every day? Has theoretical knowledge been put into practice? At 1 minute 1 second, have you done what this role should do?

In my opinion, our realistic task is not to talk about how we want to change the future of Chinese football, but to teach children who can’t play football so that they can have talent, capable players continue to glow and heat, giving them the opportunity to rush into professional football. We should not regard football as talk, but let the gears of this system rotate in our own posts.

What are the goals for the future?

My first task now is to take care of this team of age 07 and 08. From taking over to now, I have been enthusiastic for more than a year. I remember when I was just preparing for the provincial sports meeting, I lived in the dormitory for about two or three months and didn’t go home. I want this team to play in the National Games, because I have been watching these children grow up for so long, and there are many moves in the process. My coaching team and I devoted all our efforts to the children and understood that the team was inseparable and the system was competitive enough. I hope all the children in the team can stand on the stage of the National Games and earn honor for Sichuan. As a coach, I have this confidence.
